Mercenary Or Missionary?

In any complex system, determining your role is a constant journey. However over time we all tend toward certain paths that differentiate us all. Two of these are the paths of mercenaries and missionaries. To keep this short, a mercenary in my view travels for the destination, fairly so - the value they seek is usually monetary or in namely positions. The other path is that of a missionary, one who derives the reward from the effect his actions on the journey have, they usually position themselves where they have the most catalyzing effects, and can make the most indivisual difference. Both paths are great options for different types of people. I find myself a missionary, simply because it gives me a deeper sense of satisfaction when I get up in the morning. I feel like it's a more sustainable path for me in the long term. Which one are you?
