Mentha Capital supports InSites Consulting in global growth ambitions

We’re proud to announce that we’ll be teaming up with Mentha Capital to further support and accelerate our global growth ambitions. All current 13 managing partners remain fully committed to further grow the business organically and support a focused buy-and-build strategy.

InSites Consulting pioneered digital market research in 1997 as a spin-off of Vlerick Business School. Today, we are recognized among the top 100 largest and top 10 most innovative market research agencies in the world. With our current 7 offices across 3 continents, we help global brands all around the world to make better and faster marketing decisions, combining smart digital technology with contemporary marketing know-how. With a strong organic growth track record generating an impressive 15% CAGR over the last 3 years, we’ve closed our first acquisition less than a year ago with Sydney-based agency Direction First joining our ranks. By entering into a partnership with Mentha Capital, we now want to step up our game in accelerating non-organic growth through both regional expansion and the addition of strategic capabilities.

Kristof De Wulf, co-founder and CEO of InSites Consulting: “The timing feels perfect to bring on board a strategic investor to support us in our global growth ambitions. Over the last few years, we have been working hard to develop scalable foundations for growth: our proprietary digital technology platforms, a strong people and consulting practice, our global delivery model and a global brand reputation. We are convinced that, together with Mentha Capital, we can fully leverage on these foundations to become even more relevant for our global clients.”

Tim Duhamel, co-founder and CSO of InSites Consulting: “We feel Mentha Capital is the right partner for us. Their down-to-earth, energetic and transparent way of working is very much in line with the values we cherish at InSites Consulting and the way we act as managing partners. We are excited about the prospect of working together closely and further strengthening our position as a global leading next-generation consultancy agency.”

Edo Pfennings, partner at Mentha Capital: “We have experienced InSites Consulting as a quality-focused, innovation-minded and trustworthy agency led by a dedicated team of key opinion leaders in the sector. Given the energy level of the team, the drive and ambition to succeed, but also the shared passion for market research and the intrinsic motivation to continuously advance this profession, we are confident we can jointly reach our formulated growth ambitions.”

Completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. Closing is expected in the fourth quarter of 2018.
