MENTEE and MENTOR

Which question you will bear in mind if you are a mentee? And which question you will think about when you will be a mentor – a particular business mentor?

Mentee /N/: a person who is advised, trained, or counseled by a mentor.

Mentor /N/: a wise and trusted guide and advisor.

I believe that all of us has been a mentee once in our life especially when we are student or newbies in an organization. While a mentor could our boss, our colleagues, or friends or anyone who has extensive business experience we respect and would love to learn and work with them from my perspective .

And we know it’s not easy to build a successful mentor relationship. By answering my beginning questions might help you a part. Furthermore, you must put your knowledge, passion, energy, sympathy and firmness to this relationship and make it’s worth to the time you had spent for. Definitely - not easy, how smart mentors manage to spend time for couching, explaining, understanding or giving direction and instruction to let your mentees sharp their mind and develop in their strengths. And how hard when mentees fell frustrated and don’t know how to deal with the mentor relationship you chose.

Suddenly I smile and remember my memorable time, tough time, isn’t it Ms. Angie?
