In the current scenario post the pandemic situations, mental health of employees has become more critical and essential parameter so it is top most priority for companies to focus on this aspect to ensure and promote great employee experience and positive work culture

  1. Promote Positive and Energetic workplace culture
  2. Allow Flexibility for employees in terms of working conditions- Remote/Hybrid/Office based with choice and responsibility
  3. Have a process of regular connects with manager Vs employee, team bonding, conducting Hackathon programs that boost the Innovation and problem solving abilities
  4. Providing free medical and health related information, recommendations not just to employee but also their families that can help stay healthy
  5. Having Hygienic and Healthy Cafeteria that promotes best practices, high quality foods, and more conscious on the food items that would boost immunity of staff
  6. Providing Gym and Yoga facilities and encourage employees to use it regularly for wellness mentally and Physically
  7. Conducting awareness drives regularly about flu, vaccination and health check-ups that can keep employees appraised and informed with effective communication and details
  8. Focus on Family get togethers at workplace which gives opportunity for building strong rapport among team and family along with organization overall.

  1. Stay Positive : First and foremost thing is to have the positive mindset , avoid panic and negativity which will spoil the entire flow of work-life balance

Also encourage others in team by supporting them and cheer up for their achievement too. Collaborating with each other will provide the opportunity to learn and grow up further. Mentor and Mentee relationship will be the key driver within a team to gain and share knowledge on the go.

Take Breaks : Having Breaks is very important , spend quality time with family during these breaks which will help energize and rejuvenate self which in turn boost up the efficiency levels and productivity at work. Planning regular Breaks based on project or task deliverables is very much essential step that every employee needs to focus on
  5. Awareness is the key : As a employee it is very important to be aware of process, policies, information about key emergencies , facilities and benefits company is providing . Use the facilities and benefits in right way which helps to build mental and physical well-being
  6. Be a Problem solver, not Problem raiser : As an employee, focus more on solution for problem not just raising the problem alone will help you resolve any issues at workplace. Think creatively and be innovative enough to come up with solutions that will solve the problem areas

Mental wellness is the key : Having good habits , lifestyle is the key for an individual, so it is very important that an individual have their food habits proper, with good daily routines and healthy lifestyle . This will be foundation to build on positive mindset and fitness physically and mentally

One can also add afternoon power nap to the list. Research has shown higher productivity after implementation of the afternoon power nap in some work places. Thanks for sharing T.K Bharath Kumar
