HOW ARE YOU TODAY?

Happy World Mental Health Day!?Mental health touches us all. At some point in our lives, we all would have felt the need to pause and prioritize our mental health.

Between our birth “B” and Death “D” there is one letter “C” – Change. That is constant and continues. We have to learn to adopt to change in order to grow and stay focused on our wellness. Once we understand the importance of “C” which is between “B” and “D”. We can start looking forward for wellness?despite any illness.

Wellness does not mean absence of illness, but it is state of mind to face the illness and challenges that all of us face in our life due to changes. Whatever the life stage you are in, here are few tips that you can use to overcome to challenges due to change.

Develop strong habits to focus on wellness which can help to avoid illness, be it physical, mental, or spiritual.

Unlike physical health, mental health is invisible for the outside world, it is essential to discuss and get it addressed at the early stage to avoid further damage to self and society in large. There is stigma associated with mental wellness, the effort here to bring awareness and speak openly about mental wellness. Take appropriate steps at right stage with speaking up “Let us Talk”.

Major Stages of life that impacts mental wellness are:

First stages of the changes in life (from Kid to Adulthood) are well supported by the family in most of the cases. However, many face challenges in these stages as well due to either pressure of competitive education systems or inadequate support from the social systems.

Getting better grade during the student life is one part of life. It is impact to learn the lead the life by learning many aspects of life. The mental wellness of a human during various stages of life is important to understand to build stronger resilience & emotional control to stay happy & healthier.

A confident child is better capable of handling life’s challenges & has good mental health.

It is evident that these students are required to be given a platform to speak up, either with the parents and teachers about their problems. Be friendly to your children & guide them to right path. Better to adopt a mentor for all to speak up and assess right stream of education for better life considering the skill and interest developed by students at the early stage. ?

Post Adolescence, life gives many challenges, which is part of change that require to be addressed.

Campus to Corporate:

Student life to professional life. This is a change; this is very challenging as one must start adopting to different lifestyle. Learning in corporate is different than that of student life.

Getting Married:

This is next stage post job life. This is where the major change takes place. Emotional alignment from bachelor to family person has lot of impact on life and mental health. There are many compromises and conscience that plays critical on wellness aspect.

a.??????Talk, Talk, Talk make expectations more clear – Communication is KEY

b.??????Pre-marital counseling is better option

c.??????Money matter, talk about it

d.??????Family comes first, share your thoughts

e.??????Transition from Singlehood to family

Becoming a parent: ?

This is next important milestone in life. Many a times, this is tipping point of change in thoughts, and impact wellness especially mental wellness. Both not getting into parenthood and taking the life to next level with consensus between partners. ?

b.??????Love conquers all

c.??????Your child’s best friend, that is YOU

d.??????No comparison please

e.??????Stay updated about various stages

Addictions:

This is the biggest challenge to face. Change the habit to get out of addiction with appropriate steps. Addition is the first sense of mental illness. This need to be addressed with appropriate rehabilitation to get into wellness.

b.??????Consult right counsellor

c.??????Identify Habits that is bringing addiction

d.??????Control on dangerous habits early stage is MUST.

e.??????Do not hesitate to seek for support

Financial Pressure:

Money if mandatory, it is a Magic of maintaining right balance between mind and money. Managing the right level of financial strength gives calmness to mind. Money is spiritual, understand the concept of minimal survival amount (MSA) is must for mental wellness.

b.??????Set wise goals

c.??????Budget is the key

d.??????Control the dangerous depts.

e.??????Spend consciously

f.???????Beat financial pressure with proper planning

Coping up with Break-up: ?

This is another major factor that impact the wellness, the impact on emotion and wellbeing of a person directly impacted due to such aspects.

Important to remember the following aspects during the break-up:

a.??????Time is the best healer

b.??????You got to move on

c.??????Entering into a new relationship immediately is not a right option

d.???????Take professional help as needed

e.??????Move back to earlier life and it is Okay to start over again

Loss in the business:

Life always gives chance to change for who are courageous. You are one of them who took the risk to start the business in first place. Every step is the learning and failure is the foundation stone to success.

b.??????Take calculated risk before quitting the path selected

c.??????Quitting is the final option, before that remember “WHY” you started the business

d.??????Look for better / upgrade the process from the learning

e.??????Seek support from experts

Loss of Loved one:

Nobody is guaranteed for our lifetime! We are here for our journey. Ultimate realization is that everyone has a day fixed for us in this journey of life. Accepting this fact can provide more stability in the life for us.

e.??????Bounce Back. Live the life

Learn to adopt to change, the “C” between the Birth and Death that can let us manage the life satisfactorily and successfully.

C – Courage

C – Commitment to self

C – Challenging the change to grow beyond boundaries


Life is limitless, thoughts are controlling us with Emotions and Environment around us. Start focusing on positive thoughts and start living lovely life.
