We people generally have a perception well being is all about good physical health, but in today's date the definition of health has been changed in many folds. Now health is broadly divided into physical well being, mental well being and social well being. With changing lifestyle people are taking care about there physical health with changing diet and giving importance to gym and yoga. While coming towards mental health people feel ashamed to speak up about it.
The reason for poor mental health begins from desire. People have became slaves of desires and dreams that they always think to achieve it. If they fail to achieve there desired dream they go to into depression or go through an identity crisis. I would like to explain this situation with an example- A boy who was very hardworking and honest towards his studies and had a good academic record since his childhood joins a reputed business school of India and he aimed to become topper of his batch but his fate had some other plans as he could not get succeeded according to his desire. Which lead him to disconnect himself from friends and loved ones and went into depression. One day other students in the college came to know that the guy swallowed sleeping pills and he lost his life. The above story says that one should not be attracted towards one's dreams that would lead towards darkness.
Let's take another example of Vicktor Frankyl an Austrian Jewish surgeon at time of world war 2 his family was killed and he was only alive, he did not knew when death will come near to him. In such, situation he decided to smile rather than to weep like others. After few days war came to an end and prisoners in camps were freed away. this story teaches us in the hardships one shall smile to overcome the problems and one shall don't have ambitions with oneself that will lead to grievances.
By this, I would like to say we should not predict our future and overthink about it. We should live a practical life where one think about present and should not keep high hopes over career and love. If dreams won't fulfill it would not give satisfaction in life. So, last I want to say that be happy with what you have and what you have got then the life will sail smoothly. So, I request everyone take care about their mental health.
