Mental Health
Yes, you read it right. We always tend to whisper the word "MENTAL HEALTH". We are told to not talk about mental issues, which makes things worse, but Gen Z is paving the way by breaking all the stereotypes. According to the US survey 2020, The rate of suicide and depression had a drastic growth during this pandemic. Here is the brief that can help you get a clear image.
Therapy
Therapy is one of the most distinct aspects of mental health. To receive therapy, a person has to be "mad" or "insane," according to society. What's more, guess what? Society is wrong.
One of my pals, believe it or not, has been in therapy for the past two years. I am confident that she is not mad, and she's just an ordinary person who needs a little help getting through life's "rough patches."
Unfortunately, she could not receive the counselling she needed for a chunk of that time owing to miscommunication and unforeseen circumstances.
Isn't it insignificant? No, you're mistaken—big time.
She claims that psychotherapy has assisted her in developing emotional skills to deal with her anxiety and despair. It has taught her alternatives to self-harm, how to embrace herself for who she is, how to separate herself from toxic individuals in her life, and most importantly, how wonderful she is.
Awareness of Therapy
Mental illness and therapy are isn't something to be embarrassed about, nor should they have been ignored. The more people talk about it, the less stigma it has. If you are experiencing similar difficulties, you should know that you are not alone. Don't go through this alone. Please seek assistance. You're worth it, trust me. If you believe you would benefit from it, you must try therapy, whether you have a documented mental condition or want to talk about some problematic issues. The worst-case scenario is that you decide it isn't for you. Find someone you can trust and talk to them about it. You are talking is beneficial, especially when you don't feel like it. That is when you're in desperate need of it.
Coping with Depression
You can't will yourself to "snap out of it" while you're depressed. Nevertheless, the right people in your life can help you get back on track. Depression saps your energy, hope, and motivation, making it difficult to take the actions necessary to improve your mood. It can be hard or impossible to put into action merely thinking about what you should do to feel better, like exercising or spending time with friends.
The first step is always the most challenging. However, taking a stroll or getting up and dancing to your favourite music is something you can do right now. It can also significantly improve your mood and energy for several hours, allowing you to take a second recovery step, such as making a mood-boosting meal or drawing up plans to see an old friend. Day by day, you'll finally be free of the thick fog of sadness and feel happier, healthier, and more hopeful by taking little but positive measures.

Kim Namjoon, RM of BTS, made me realize how important it is to speak for oneself and the changes that one can make when one follows it. The following were remarks by BTS' Namjoon at the launch of Generation Unlimited at the UN General Assembly.
Maybe I made a mistake yesterday, but yesterday's me is still me. I am who I am today, with all my faults. Tomorrow I might be a tiny bit wiser, and that's me, too. These faults and mistakes are what I am, making up the brightest stars in the constellation of my life. I have come to love myself for who I was, who I am, and who I hope to become.?
"I would like to say one last thing. "After releasing the "Love Yourself" albums and launching the "Love Myself" campaign, we started to hear remarkable stories from our fans all over the world, how our message helped them overcome their hardships in life and start loving themselves. These stories constantly remind us of our responsibility. "So, let's all take one more step. We have learned to love ourselves, so now I urge you to "speak yourself."
"I would like to ask all of you. What is your name? What excites you and makes your heartbeat?
"Tell me your story. I want to hear your voice, and I want to listen to your conviction. No matter who you are, where you're from, skin colour, or gender identity: speak for yourself.
"We have learned to love ourselves, so now I urge you to 'speak yourself.'"
"Find your name, find your voice by speaking yourself.
"What is your name? Speak Yourself!"
