MENTAL HEALTH is the journey of YOUR MIND- Train it and See the Difference

The perception that "Mental Health" means a disorder is something which shows inadequate knowledge on the same . We all face fluctuations in our mental conditions whenever things are not going as per our expectations . We are smart and we have always exhibited an aura of knowing everything and decide on everything, without thinking about its consequences. Once when I shared with a parent that " over confidence in a kid results to a non resilient character" , I got the answer, " why she has to be resilient ? We have arranged everything that she will not face any needs to be fulfilled at all" . After three years when I met the same family , the daughter was going through "chronic depression" and why ?? because she was unable to accept the percentile she received in her board exams and even after answer sheet review , there was no change in the result .Depression lead to panic attacks, nerve failures and an overall personality where there was NO CONFIDENCE at all. Without knowing the core of any thing the parents decided the future which was not known to them . Was her expectation wrong ? No, what is wrong - the thoughts of the environment which stopped her to expect failure , and did not teach her that "Failures are also a part of Success".

Ok today , here I am going to suggest few very simple assured steps which one need to practice to get a better ‘MENTAL HEALTH’

1.    First and foremost step to understand , “ Do we know what Mental Health is” if not please educate yourself on that as its an essential call of the time

2.    Keep yourself involved – the worst mental state is when you start thinking that you are left alone , no worth of your existence etc. This feeling come only when you cannot handle the criticism or a comment you receive which you do not like.

3.    A proactive you is a real YOU – It is not essential that you are made responsible for certain tasks but your initiative to take a step ahead to take things by yourself , and prove the same

4.    Trust at least ONE PERSON in your Life to open up – In our daily life , talking to someone rather an honest listener to you is essential and important as all your “ so called relationships” give an ear with a reason behind and it hurts at the end . We all need to open up to at least one person in Life , but for sure “SPEAK UP” without thinking the way your recipient is taking you.

5.    Follow what you like to do MOST – Why ??. that is your self satisfaction which is far more important than keeping others’ happy . Once you are happy and positive you can keep your surroundings bright and welcoming. And most importantly when we do something what we like - WE STAY HAPPY

6.    Talking about your feelings do not mean that you are displaying your weaknesses. You are a human being and its perfect if you open up to speak what you feel . More you clarify the less stress you invite in life

7.    A proper diet makes you more active , so once you are physically healthy , your mental health also shows you the right path to follow .

8. Accept situations/ solutions/results, as it is, not necessary that all will be at your favor. Accept it and when you get a way to make it better then go for it .

9. Perfection is a good passion , but obsession towards perfection is extreme and not required .

Being human , will give you all challenges of laughter, sorrows, criticisms , etc. but believe me a collective journey of experiencing all these emotions give you an enormously strong Mental Health .
