While a lot of recruitment agencies globally are embracing a four-day workweek and enhanced counseling for their recruiters, it's high time you start giving back the same to your candidates.

Last year alone, 1 in every 4 employees quit their jobs over mental health reasons. With the attrition rate being this high, you can't take this anymore with a pinch of salt.

How Can You Take Care of Yourself Amidst Hiring for Clients?

There's no foolproof method that can help you take charge of this.

1 in every 5 Americans face mental illnesses in a year. It's high time you spread awareness about the importance of mental health (just as much as physical health).

Here are a few tips you could take into account —

  • Check in with yourself and your co-workers. Often, you don't end up evaluating how you are feeling presently. The best way to do this would be journalling or via a mood tracker app on your phone.
  • Socialize with fellow recruiters. Go out for a quick lunch or plan an outing.
  • Time off from week is crucial. If you're feeling overwhelmed at work, take a break.
  • Organize your day and your workspace properly. Sometimes a major reason why you are feeling lost could be because your desk is cluttered. Keeping your workspace clean could help alleviate stress.
  • Don't be ashamed in asking for help. You'll notice an increase in job satisfaction and your productivity levels if you take the help that's needed at the right time.
