National Nurses Week - May 6-12, 2024

May 6-12, 2024 was Nurses Week! During the week, we took the time to thank all of our nurses at NNCC for their work and dedication to our teams, communities, and client families. AAPI Heritage Month 2024

This month, we honored Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander individuals who have pushed public health and social justice to new levels in the US., individuals like Dr. Mary Frances Oneha and Mooie Eng making differences in their communities and beyond. Read more here.


Building Strong Roots: Nurturing Mental Health in Philadelphia's Children

It’s never too early to think about the mental health of a child and their network of support. Child and family-serving providers have a unique opportunity to help families understand the connection between their mental health and the mental health of the children in their lives.

NNCC and Joseph J. Peters Institute (JJPI) are working on a new initiative to improve mental health outcomes among children in Philadelphia further, called Philly SPROUT. Read more here.
