Mental Health Awareness for Line Managers – measured/unfiltered outcomes
Over the last couple of months we have been hosting Mental Health Awareness for Line Managers courses in conjunction with Mandy Kinnell from “Headstart Learning, Developing & Coaching”, to provide early intervention and prevention advice, along with active listening,questioning techniques and signposting options to several groups, including participants involved in the gaming and banking sectors along with Government employees.
We are extremely proud of the feedback we have received and plan on hosting some further stand-alone sessions to encourage more companies to raise awareness for staff on what to do/how to help. The object of the course is to keep employees in the work place by providing support options early on and ultimately enabling them to thrive in their role again and reduce the amount of sick days taken.

We are delighted that practical measures will be used with spotting early signs, when to escalate, and “Peer support groups” being added into the workplace environment, I feel that well-being issues will be addressed at an earlier stage and thus allowing the staff member to flourish in the workplace once again.
