Mental Health Awareness Month at Convelio: Fostering a Supportive Workplace

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time dedicated to recognizing the importance of mental well-being and the impact it has on our personal and professional lives. At Convelio, we understand that mental health is fundamental to the success and happiness of our team. As a leading logistics provider for fine art, we recognize that our people are our greatest asset, and their mental health is a priority.

Why Mental Health Matters at Convelio

In the fast-paced logistics industry, especially one as specialized as ours, the pressures can be significant. Our employees manage complex projects and ensure the safe transport of valuable artworks and luxury items across the globe. This demanding environment makes it crucial to foster a workplace that supports mental health and well-being.

Initiatives and Support Systems

This Mental Health Awareness Month, Convelio is proud to highlight our ongoing initiatives aimed at creating a supportive and inclusive workplace:

  1. Healthcare Support Services: We offer our team members easy access to psychologists and specialized doctors through our comprehensive health insurance in all offices. Whether it's through in-person consultations or virtual sessions, we ensure that support is readily available for those who need it.
  2. Flexible Working Arrangements: Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, Convelio provides flexible working hours and remote work options. We offer remote working as an option for our team members in several of our locations where the work setting allows it, with the possibility to work remotely up to 3 days a week, and up to 6 weeks a year in a full-remote setting. This flexibility helps our employees manage their responsibilities in a way that best suits their individual needs.
  3. Wellness Webinars: Throughout Mental Health Awareness Week, we hosted a series of webinars focused on mental health topics such as stress management, mindfulness, and movement. These sessions were designed to equip our team with practical tools to maintain their mental well-being.
  4. Open Communication Culture: We encourage open dialogue about mental health within our organization. By fostering an environment where employees feel comfortable discussing their mental health, we can better support each other and address any issues proactively. Convelio works hand in hand with employee representatives through the monthly analysis of our eNPS to analyze our employees’ well-being at work.

Mental Health Awareness Week

In addition to ongoing initiatives at Convelio, our London office participated in Mental Health Awareness Week from May 13 - 19, 2024. Convelio's very own Caitlin Perry , organized a week of activities to educate our team and provide valuable resources. The events included a Stress in the Workplace Seminar on Tuesday, a Mobility and Movement Seminar on Wednesday, and Wear it Green Day on Thursday to support Mental Health Awareness.

Join Us in Promoting Mental Health

At Convelio, we believe that promoting mental health awareness is a collective effort. We invite our partners, clients, and community to join us in this important cause. By raising awareness and reducing the stigma around mental health, we can create a more compassionate and supportive world.

As we continue to grow and navigate the complexities of the art logistics industry, we remain committed to the well-being of our team. Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder of the importance of prioritizing mental health, not just in May, but every day. Together, we can build a healthier, more resilient workplace.

Let's take this opportunity to support one another and strive for a brighter, more mindful future.
