Mental Diseases
Just to put it all into perspective and to counter some of the misleading statements made recently from icare, the chart above tracks the monthly incidence of mental disease claims against all claims from 2011 to 2022. As the workforce grows so do the numbers of claims, as exposures change.
What is strongly evident is the difference in the two trendlines which clearly show that mental disease claims are not doubling every 4 years and have remained remarkably stable.
But of course the SIRA scheme wide data may be different for icare spin doctors. I know who I prefer to believe.

2 年Wow, I first thought it was your EKG, and you were looking pretty sick. Good analysis, certainly the trend line tells a tale, but much more stable than previously thought.

2 年Thank you for posting. Are you able to share the link of the data ? Is it from SIRA website? If the position of mental health claims indeed remain steady then are we finding and solving the right problem ? What should we turn our mind to?
