Menopause Matters
Menopausal people are the fastest-growing demographic in the workplace. At Capita, 25% of our colleagues are menopause-age women and it’s important we provide the right support so those experiencing menopause systems can still reach their full potential at work and do not experience any disadvantages. ?
Everyone experiences the menopause differently and for some, symptoms can be both mentally and physically?challenging. We have worked hard over the last couple of years to raise the awareness of the menopause and perimenopause, signing the Menopause Workplace Pledge in 2022 to take positive action and make sure everyone going through the menopause is supported.
This World Menopause Day we will be holding our 3rd Capita virtual Menopause Café, which have been a huge success so far and a safe space for people to come together and discuss experiences. Don’t take our word for it, here’s some real feedback from those who have attended:-

?The session was superb. It was very useful to hear about other ladies experiences & strategies on coping with both perimenopause and menopause. Menopause shouldn’t be a taboo, and everyone should feel confident to have a conversation, especially when they need guidance and advice. We will continue to create positive and open environments and talking about why the ‘Menopause Matters’.
