Menopause + Imposter Syndrome = A Perfect Storm

Menopause + Imposter Syndrome = A Perfect Storm

Did you know that menopause (or more correctly perimenopause) is one of the biggest trigger points for Imposter Syndrome?

Our latest data shows that 1 in 10 people will consider quitting their job today, due to Imposter Syndrome. It's 1 in 4 each week. But for women in perimenopause, this figure is even higher.

So the interaction between Imposter Syndrome and perimenopause means you're losing highly talented women from your teams, right at the point where they are stepping up to make the biggest impact of their career.

For this year's World Menopause Day, I've done a special edition of the Ditching Imposter Syndrome podcast all about this.

In this episode, you will discover how to spot the hidden warning signs, either for yourself or for your teams. We'll explore seven core biological reasons why Perimenopause makes imposter syndrome worse, and imposter syndrome makes perimenopause worse.

And then there are some practical suggestions for what you can do, either for yourself, or for your team members, or your loved ones, to help them to prevent this, to turn it around, and to proactively, so that imposter syndrome doesn't need to exacerbate perimenopause and make everything harder for them.

If you're not doing this in your organisation, you will be losing some of your top talent, your most successful women, just at the point where they are ready to give their best to have the biggest possible impact in their careers.

And they will be leaving due to a combination of imposter syndrome and perimenopause.
You don't want that. They don't want that.

This episode has to be a must listen.
