Last night was an epic semi-final of the Cricket World Cup 2023.
The Men in Blue, which is the Indian Cricket Team, have so far had a dream run and are making a nation of 1.4 Billion proud with the way they play the game.
The Women in Blue haven’t been far behind in this quest too.
?The Final is on Sunday the 19th Nov.
?Winning would be great and is almost inevitable.
Even if the boys don’t, they will remain a team that makes us proud, both as a team and individuals of exceptional quality who come together so beautifully in putting collective ahead of themselves.
?But the real joy isn’t just about the one and a half dozen who wear the jerseys on the ground and what is won or lost in a few hours of sport. It takes scores or hundreds of unsung or at least invisible individuals to do their jobs in an inspired fashion, day in and day out, for decades for these moments to unfold their magic, that inspires millions and lifetimes.

?It has been a privilege to witness the change over the decades from a fledgling frustrated nation to a confident set of people who are ready to stick their shoulder to the wheel asking ‘Why NOT Me?’ To serve, and to nurture.
Giving of oneself so that others may be the poster boys for the team; even when they have the choice to opt out.
?We owe them all, a debt of gratitude; for doing their dharma.
That is what makes for Karma.
