Men, We Need You ???
Stake your flag and prepare for battle.
Except this battle is in "the mind."
This battle is in "the spirit."
I'm referring to the battle for your soul. The one referred to most as good vs. evil and, in biblical terms, the one being fought beyond what we can perceive with our eyes. It's a battle of principalities, not flesh and bone.
So what do we do with this understanding? This battle is not one of guns and bombs but propaganda and spiritual deceit? We do what men have done for centuries before but have long forgotten. We dive deep into ourselves and forge skills, abilities, and a mindset necessary to endure the challenge.
The battle is fought solo as much as it is with a team. In the modern world, men need a "team" now more than ever. It's far too easy to slip up and hold thyself accountable. It is why unifying with other brothers is extremely important. Like an army or military operation, working together synergistically through the fire and flames of our own minds takes strength and courage.
This message really resonates with me today as I ponder on the men who died in battle to preserve the freedom of our country. As much as I believe that our country entered war many times when it did not need to, it does not alter my perspective of the sacrifice individual men made on the battlefield. These men gave their lives because they were connected to their brothers in battle and their families at home. It truly is the ultimate sacrifice.
Sacrifice in battle all begins in the mind. Modern men today who will not fight in "battle" will still fight "mentally" against the coercion of elitist corporations and government entities. The reason this "fight" even exists is an outcome of the evil that infiltrates the minds of those in power.
You and I are just as susceptible to being burdened by fear and evil, leading to poor decision-making, as the individuals stated above. It is the reason why accountability through tight-knit circles is beneficial. It's the reason why some men end up leading, and others follow. The ones who lead endure til the end, the ones that follow see that, respect it and follow. Both are virtuous in their own rights, but it requires dedication and critique from the top-down and the bottom up.
Real leaders can be critiqued as well as they can critique. Real leaders build tight-knit circles and use them as sounding boards and they respect the advice of advisors. Real leaders prepare for battle in the mind before it ever happens in the flesh. Real leaders plan, instead of allowing life to happen to them. Real leaders use their god-given discernment to think before they speak and to listen and ask questions before they trust.
It's in our nature as men to take on these roles as it is the nature of a woman to child bear.
Men, it is your nature to take a stand and do the right thing, even if it costs you your life. It is your nature to challenge a brother when he is slipping. It is your nature to speak the truth in a world of lies. It is your nature to be strong and be prepared to fight if necessary. It is your nature to provide even when the world wants you to "sit back & relax." You cannot undo the fundamentals of your DNA and what god gave you.
Remember the men on the battlefield who literally died for their families and loved ones.
If you can't do the same in your business, in your positions of power for your family and loved ones, what are you?
It's something to consider if you see what I see as we deal with millions of men that are led to believe they are invaluable, misogynistic, and wrong for being whom they are designed to be.
Don't kill the savage inside just learn how to tame him.
