Sometimes we need to come up with excuses why we can't make that long distance birthday celebration. I decided to make a joke about it, and the birthday person was pleasantly surprised for her birthday. She liked my zany characterization of the cake spill better than some of her cards or presents. Ha Ha Go figure!
