Men Don't Want Casual Sex is one of the chapters in my new book, and the point I make is that hook-ups early on are bad for a relationship. A man wants to FEEL something for the woman he's dating. Even though a guy will try to sleep with you early on - and may even say he won't date a woman unless she has slept with him by the 3rd date- this isn't how it really is. When a man really likes a woman, he will wait til she's ready.

Funnily enough, last weekend I was being interviewed about my book by a woman who confided to me, after the interview, that her husband told her that if she had slept with him on the first, second or third date, he wouldn't have continued to date her.

Countless men I interviewed revealed they felt the same. Some were embarrassed that there was a double standard, but they said they couldn't help but feel the way they feel.
