Good morning. Men of Color in Career Services has been absent the last few weeks, however it has returned. The countdown to the conclusion of the series is on. After this weeks feature, there are six more. This week, I am pleased to feature Kenneth Rucker as this weeks Man of Color in Career Services. Please take a few moments to learn more about Kenneth.
Ken Rucker is a coach/teacher at heart and has experience in both teaching and coaching at the middle school, high school, and college levels. Ken is a Certified Professional Career Coach and serves as the Associate Director of Career Services at Cedarville University.
He has created and implemented the Career Services Student Ambassador Program and serves as the Career Fair Coordinator. Under his watch, career fairs have grown year after year, with the four largest being under his tenure. He was a key player in generating revenue for the office which increased over 200 percent.
When he is not viewing assessments or helping students put together a game plan to find and obtain their dream job or internship, he can be found on the basketball court helping kids reach their full potential. Ken loves sharing the life lessons and character-building moments that athletics (basketball in particular) provides. He can be reached at [email protected] or www.dhirubhai.net/in/kennethrucker/
