MEMORY LANDSCAPE STORY

Galway author and storyteller Rab Fulton teaches a six week online course on MEMORY LANDSCAPE STORY.

The course builds on the techniques Rab developed over the last five years of teaching storytelling in NUI Galway, and also on his decades of experience as a writer and storyteller.

Over the six weeks participants will examine folklore, landscape in folklore, the landscape around us, the landscape of our memories, and the folkloric elements that can be found in memory.?Using this new appreciation of landscape and memory participant will then create their own wonder tales. The course also aims to develop people’s awareness of the importance of memory and landscape for individual and societal wellbeing and creativity.

The next series of workshops begin on Friday 3rd September at 7.30pm Irish Standard Time. The cost is 150 euro or 120 euro discount. Each workshop will run for ninety minutes.
