In Memoriam - Luise W?rle
I just found out she died 4 years ago.
It explains why she never responded to my emails from France and from London.
She was my idol, my favorite yoga teacher, someone who practiced yoga since the early 70s and became an official BKS yoga teacher in 1978.
Someone I remember when in doubt, especially now, here in the UK yoga business world, where I feel I don't belong to.
She was very encouraging. During my last exam of the teacher training, with only the beginner's knowledge of German but with the strong determination to take the most flexible students out of the posture and get them back into the starting position, guiding them into something that is more than just doing an asana, (I still do not know how to call that process precisely) she wrote a sentence I will never ever forget.
"Aleksandra has a natural authority as a yoga teacher."
That was my guiding light, not something to show off with, but something that is truly very natural to me.
She gave me her support, her knowledge, we stayed in touch during my 10-year residency in the Buddhist community and she was just the most beautiful being.
I miss her.
Thank you, Luise.
?Meine Reise über diese Erde ist vollendet.
Ich danke euch allen für die vielen sch?nen Begegnungen
und werde im Herzen mit euch verbunden bleiben."
