Happy Memorial Day Weekend!?
It is here!
The break we ALL love.
This weekend can be a money trap and I want to give you a tip or two on how to avoid overspending.
Memorial Day is filled with great vibes, great food, great people and great opportunities to let it all hang out!
When you get around family and friends, it can be easy to just pick this up or grab that while you’re out.?
I know you’re familiar with the last minute quintessential, “STORE RUN.”?
However, do you have to be the one that goes to the store?
First off, let someone else raise their hand before you raise yours…it slows down your ability to spend.?
Second, take out $100 in cash. Let this be your “put something on it” money. So, if the family needs a few bottles of wine, another rack of ribs, some snacks until the food is ready or another case of brews, you have some cash to put towards the purchase instead of you footing the whole bill.?

Third, buy in advance and in bulk. You know the stores you can visit to buy the larger quantity sizes. It’s a better bang for your buck and it’s always good to come with gifts in tow than to arrive empty handed and then have to shell out cash.
?Fourth, you have an intention about how much you’re willing to spend randomly. If you practice good discipline, once the cash is gone, that’s it! Leave that card in your wallet!
Remember, everything starts in the mind. If you desire to have mindfulness with your spending during this holiday weekend, remember these tips.?
Thanks for tappin’ in! Everything in divine order and happy Memorial Day Weekend!
