Memorial Day: A Day to Reflect

Below is the image our company is sharing in honor of Memorial Day. I wanted to say that I know to some, to say "Happy" in conjunction with this day, is an affront to the memories of the fallen, who we honor on this day every year. This is also a day of honor for those who didn't fall, or who did but got up again, but were never the same. So many gave their lives for our freedom, and so many others gave limbs, family and experienced quality of life changes, in sacrifice to our country and way of life. Today, with the damages of the recent political campaigns, which remind me of the years after the civil war, honestly. With the terror headlines and protests, as well as violence in our streets, it is even more important than ever to remember those who gave up everything they had and everything they would ever have, for a dream called America.
I am going to "fast" from posting or any social media, after this article, until Tuesday. Call it a moment of silence, if you will, in honor of this day.
I also want to make one last comment: Thank you for your service! Anyone who reads this, that has served our country, anyone who sees this, that has had to sacrifice, either a temporary absence, or permanent loss of a loved one, thank you and sincere condolences, from me personally, and from all of us, here, at Firstgroup Recruiting Solutions, LLC.
