People help you the way they know to help you. To help you to come out of stress, one friend will ask you to consume alcohol, one will ask you to meditate, and another will take you out for a coffee to discuss your problem and find solution. To overcome hurt, one friend will ask you to take revenge and get even, and another will ask you to forgive and get ahead with your life.
It’s not possible every time to find solutions within our capacity and we need the right people has our fallback options. Taking a leaf from Mahabharat (one of the greatest Indian Epic)
Duryodhana's predicament, in his own words, was "I know what is right, but i am not able to indulge in it. I know what is wrong, but i am not able to avoid it". He needed a fallback. His fallback was his uncle Shakuni, and resultantly, Duryodhana moved bad to worse.
Arjuna's predicament was different. He was allowing his personal emotions to dominate his sense of duty, and hence wanted to escape from the responsibilities he had towards upholding righteousness. He needed a fallback. His fallback was Krishna, and resultantly, Arjuna was restored to his greatness.
Humans we are, at some point or the other, we all need a fallback. "Who is your fallback" make all the difference.
During my toughest times in both personal and professional I had the good fortune of right fallback. It’s not matter of luck but the investment we make in building the right network of mentors, friends and colleagues who will come for the rescue during the tough times. You also need to become a fallback for many of the budding professionals and friends, That Investment you make will become your fallback.
Life is matter of alignment. people step into the stories you create for them. People generally behave in a way that meets the expectations you have of them. People generally conduct themselves in alignment with the belief, faith and trust you’ve developed around them. And they mostly behave in accordance with the tightly cherished perceptions that you’ve structured about them.

Tell your kid that he/she’s your hero each morning and that kids going to shine like The North Star for the rest of her life (tell your kids they’re amazing at least 500 times a day; and hug them like you’ll never see them again). Tell your teammate that you wish you were half as good as them and you’ve just created a space of possibility for that human being to step into (and up to). Tell the person who serves you your next restaurant meal that you appreciate them and then flash the most honest smile you can muster (doesn’t matter if your tired – leaders do what’s right versus easy).
Do so and you’ve just reminded a human to be human and spread some of your stardust (and you might just get a free meal). Tell good stories. For every person you meet, suggest (by your words, your tone, your behavior and your energy) that you have a story deep in your mind of how great they are. See the best in people. Look for the greatness inside them.
Remind people that they were meant to shine. In the process you would have made a great impact in many people lives and they look up to you as a their Mentor and Guide.
Godspeed
