It melts my heart.

Every single day when Elly and I go to pick up Aoife-Mae,

you should see the excitement in her face.  

She's waving at the window, jumping up and down, and so excited.  

And then she wants to run around the nursery, telling everyone that her mummy is here or her daddy is here, whoever goes in to get her.  

The excitement is just unbelievable.  

She's so happy and it melts my heart because she's so excited by the simplest little things, just our mere presence makes her happy.  

And it's a real shame, because we seem to lose that sort of thing as we get older, and we drift, we seem to lose appreciation for what things are really important, like being in the presence of loved ones, because that is something special and it's something that I'm very grateful for, the amount of time that I do get to spend with Elly and Aoife-Mae.  

My message today is simple .

don't take time for granted, and if you really are taking time for granted, look at your little ones and see the excitement and happiness on their face just for being in your presence.  

And you'll soon have your heart melted and feel the same :D:D
