Across a 12 month period all Hearing Australia team members have the opportunity to award badges for our brand behaviours and ways of working to anyone within the organisation. These are shortlisted each month and the winners selected by our executive at the end of the year. The award categories are applicable across all roles and are further categorised by internal and external facing roles.

Melissa Jones – Winner of the 2023 Super STAR Award
Congratulations to our Customer Service Officer, Melissa Jones. She is a recent recipient of our SuperSTAR award, which recognises team member’s contributions over the last 12 months. To help celebrate her accomplishments, we asked Melissa to share more about her achievements and career.
Prior to working with us, Melissa had experience in both the health and fitness, and banking industry while raising her children. Currently, she operates from our Mt Druitt and Blacktown centre as a front of house Customer Service Officer. Her day involves answering calls, booking appointments, receiving and sending hearing aids to manufacturers and repairing hearing devices.
Melissa describes her role as very rewarding as she gets the chance to help people with their hearing needs amongst a team that recognises when she’s giving her best efforts. She was especially pleased to be a recipient of the SuperSTAR awards, as she felt like she had made a difference in the 14 months since joining us.
