A melamine moulding compound (MMC) is an alpha-cellulose filled melamine formaldehyde material, available in an unlimited range of colours. It produces mouldings with surface hardness unsurpassed by any other plastics. Moulded parts exhibit excellent resistance to abrasion, boiling water, detergents, weak acids, weak alkalis, as well as acidic foods and extracts.
