It feels like just yesterday I was on stage at Pulse 2022 (wearing a questionable mustache, dressed as Ned SaaSo). But I’ll say it right now: this was the Best. Pulse. Ever!
Being back together (in real life and virtually), our community felt like an unstoppable force. We laughed together. We commiserated together about the last few years of loneliness. We suffered through far too many of my dad jokes and Taylor Swift references.?
More importantly, we celebrated all our industry’s incredible milestones and achievements, even in challenging economic times. I remember when Pulse was launched in 2013, our goal from the beginning was to make it all about the community - not another vendor conference. And 9-years later, Pulse has stayed true to that. Our power as a community shone through for the entire two days.

- Human-First is Unstoppable: Human-First business is the concept that underlies all of Pulse and is what connects us together. It’s critical to helping each other thrive – our fellow community members, our customers, and yes, even our competitors. As our Durable Growth Playbook keynote showed, it’s not only the right thing to do, it’s the best way to run a business.
- Our Marketing Team is Unstoppable: I am so privileged to work with the most creative and driven team in the industry. From our beautiful keynotes to our heart-felt, passionate messaging, they are the glue that pulls our community together for events like these. My awful jokes and questionable fashion statements would not reach nearly as many people without their help.
- My Mom is Unstoppable: I am biased here, but hopefully several of you agree! I feel so incredibly blessed to be part of a community that allows me to create and share moments like these with someone special to me: my mom. She recently celebrated her 75th birthday and so we surprised her on stage with a cake. To me, this is at the heart of Human-First: allowing each other to show up as our authentic selves to work.
