India, 1.5 billion potential electric vehicle users. The development of a local battery industry faces shortages of raw materials. A problem that China certainly does not have. Chinese truck manufacturer Windrose is working with BorgWarner and Decathlon on a major MW charging project.
Across the Pacific Ocean in Los Angeles, Einride and Voltera unveiled a true hub with 65 chargers for HD vehicles. Buses speed up to zero emissions. In Hamburg, Germany, the e-bus fleet has covered 20 million km (but profitability is not easy, as Ebusco’s case testifies…).
Europe also confirms itself as a champion of alternatives to the electric way. AGCO Power invests €70 million in the hydrogen and biofuels plant. Total Energies is joining seven major companies to create an international coalition supporting the development of production and use of e-natural gas.
