Megan Jones: Rising Star at Farrar Bamforth Architecture

A shout out for team member exceeding all expectations

If we do say so ourselves, we have a pretty amazing team. We’re not a large practice but we certainly punch well above our weight in terms of the projects and clients that we get involved with and that’s definitely down to the talent we have.

While every team member makes a huge contribution to our success, sometimes we have to shine a spotlight on an individual who is just flying and deserves a bit of solo recognition. Right now, that person is Megan Jones.

Megan and Farrar Bamforth Architecture

Megan started at Farrar Bamforth Architecture as architectural assistant in November 2022 after achieving a first-class degree in International Architecture at the University of Huddersfield. She threw herself into mastering CGI imaging, producing some amazing visuals and adding a much valued string to the Farrar Bamforth bow.

Project-wise, she worked on designing banqueting facilities and contemporary homes for clients and presenting her ideas to senior decision makers in those organisations, which she did with professionalism and confidence way beyond what you would expect from someone starting out in the industry. As her experience has grown, she has started running some smaller refurbishment and remodelling projects and this has led to her transitioning to the new role of architectural designer and assistant project manager.

A bright future ahead

As busy as all this is keeping her, Megan is also continuing with her studies, and has just started a masters degree in Project and Operations Management, which will perfectly complement the role she’s now doing at the company.

In a relatively short time, Megan has really made a difference in the business. She is also a great contributor to office morale, especially when she brings Drew-Dog into the office, and we just wanted to say how proud we are of her.
