Celebrating 16 years in business this year, Megan has successfully navigated the challenges of a pandemic, expanded her company's services, and is now setting her sights on a third location in St. Petersburg, FL.

Inspired by a work-related conference four years ago, Megan fell in love with St. Petersburg, FL, and recognized the potential it held for real estate, development, and new business. Now, she is eager to establish a third location in this vibrant market. Beyond the business opportunities, Megan was drawn to the area because it offered a fulfilling lifestyle for herself and her loved ones. She cherishes the memories created with her family and the opportunity to provide an escape from the cold Pittsburgh winters for her parents.

Family is a priority for Megan, and she understands the importance of work-life balance. Baker offers a flexible work environment that allows her employees to prioritize their family commitments and not have to choose between work and important moments. No one should have to miss dance recitals, sporting events, concerts, or school plays. Her dedication to fostering a supportive and family-friendly culture sets Baker Public Relations apart.

Megan also places a strong emphasis on self-care, encouraging her team to prioritize their well-being. Before the pandemic, the team participated in monthly meditation sessions, which later expanded to include in-person yoga and virtual meditation. Even Baker's clients and partners were invited to join these sessions, highlighting Megan's inclusive approach to well-being. Additionally, Megan introduced Summer Fridays, allowing the team to end their work week early and spend quality time with their families. Looking ahead, she plans to develop a comprehensive well-being program that further promotes balance and helps manage outside stressors.

Beyond her business endeavors, Megan is committed to supporting others in pursuing their dreams. In 2022, she launched two scholarships for young women pursuing careers in communications. One scholarship is offered at Butler Senior High School, Megan's alma mater, while the other is available to students at Shaker High School, where her children attend. Furthermore, Baker Public Relations recently completed a significant pro-bono PR project for The Alignment Chapter, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to assisting low-income single mothers with basic needs and maintaining stress-free households.
