A MEGA PORT TO SERVE THE NATION

Dear Minister Amaechi (Minister of Transport) - Tony Restall here if you remember me when you were the Governor of Rivers State? Whomever is advising you sir is giving you poor information. Based purely on the Population numbers of Nigeria ( let alone the 33 Million in LAGOS) - Nigeria should be constructing a SUPER MEGA PORT - At Least 100 Berths with sufficient land to allocate to Industries that rely on competitive logistics,

Nigeria will be the THIRD Largest Country by population after China No#1 and India #2 yet you are permitting these small ports to be constructed.

Why do I say a 100 Berth Port (*minimum) - Nigeria has what Dubai - Jebel Ali never had - 1) Available local labour & 2) Natural Gas Feedstock.

Then how to pay for it? Ah THE FEAR FACTOR???

Easy .... You have existing Very High Value Real Estate in the Heart of Lagos ( The Current NPA Ports) and they can be used as guarantee or Sovereign Guarantee to Construct your New Super Hub Port - Away from the Traffic Congestion of Lagos - Connected with Rail, Super wide lane Highways.

If Dubai Port ( Jebel Ali) is turning over $100 Billion Per Year - LAGOS NEW PORT could easily DOUBLE that figure.... TEST ME - I would welcome the challenge....
