The constructing bridge pier consists of 56 piles, max. drilling dia. is 3.2m and max. drilling depth is 86m.
Located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze river, the stratum of this area is changeable and complicated, the upper is covered by clay and mu formation, and the bottom layers consist of medium-weathered?sandstone.
