Xiaomi Unveils Flagship 15 Ultra with 200MP Camera and Ultra-Large Sensor

Xiaomi, the world's third-largest smartphone maker, has unveiled its new flagship device, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The base model is priced at 6,499 yuan, or about $894.

The phone features a 1-inch ultra-large main camera sensor, boasting a 200 megapixelperiscope telephoto lens, aimed at tackling the long-standing challenge of poor low-light telephoto imaging.

Xiaomi is aiming to keep up with—and maybe even outshine—the competition in the smartphone race!


MWC 2025 Preview: Xiaomi, Nothing, and Honor Set for Major Unveilings

The new Xiaomi device will be presented at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. The show kicks off in Barcelona from March 3 to March 6, with early announcements likely on March this weekend. Many tech giants will showcase their latest innovations.

Beyond Xiaomi, Nothing will reveal the Phone (3a) Series, their affordable, transparent, Android device, with speculation around additional surprise launches.

Samsung's presence is more low-key this year, but the Galaxy S25 Edge, a slim new flagship, might make an appearance.

Honor will unveil new products, potentially including the Magic6 Pro and Honor MagicBook Pro 16 laptop, during its March 2 event.


Trend Micro Unveils AI-Powered Cybertron at MWC for Proactive Cybersecurity

Trend Micro is launching at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona Trend Cybertron, an AI-powered cybersecurity tool designed to predict and prevent threats.

Described as the industry's first proactive cybersecurity AI, Cybertron leverages 35 years of Trend Micro data and thousands of books to enhance enterprise security.

Trend Micro Security evangelist Udo Schneider revealed in an interview with MEF that Cybertron was initially an internal AI model, powering Trend Micro's Vision One platform.

Now, the company is officially introducing it as a specialized large language model (LLM) built to drive proactive security outcomes using deep risk assessments and global threat intelligence.
