MEEZA, Schneider Electric Unite to Accelerate Smart Cities & Sustainable Data Centers in Qatar

We are pleased to announce the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Schneider Electric, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation. The collaboration is a key step in advancing smart cities and sustainable data centres, supporting Qatar's drive towards a robust digital economy.

As part of the agreement, Schneider Electric will support the transformation of MEEZA’s data centres, with a focus on sustainability and energy efficiency. This includes combining renewable energy sources and advanced cooling systems to reduce carbon footprint, while ensuring MEEZA’s data centre’s meet the highest standards of scalability, energy efficiency and resilience.

MEEZA & Cloudera sign a Memorandum of Understanding

MEEZA and Cloudera have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore strategic collaboration. The partnership aims to leverage Cloudera's data platform to enhance MEEZA's Managed IT Services, offering advanced data analytics, AI, and cloud solutions.

Together, they will create a blueprint architecture and develop a joint go-to-market strategy targeting customers in Qatar. The collaboration supports MEEZA’s digital transformation goals and aligns with Cloudera’s efforts to build a global technology ecosystem.

MEEZA Successful Renewal of Cisco Gold Service Integrator Certificate

We are pleased to announce that MEEZA has successfully renewed the Cisco Gold Service Integrator certificate. This achievement showcases MEEZA’s commitment to expand its role as a trusted advisor and a digital transformation partner for our clients who look to Cisco advanced solutions for an unmatched digital experience.

MEEZA has been keen on expanding its tier-1 partnership ecosystem to combine the power and value of its Qatar-based operations and assets with the likes of Cisco solutions to create and deliver value-add Managed Services offerings to our customers based on their tailormade requirements. By expanding our IT service portfolio, MEEZA provides its clients worldwide with standardized services provisioned by our certified network engineers and state-of-the art IT infrastructure.

MEEZA records QR 42.0 million Net Profit in first nine months of 2024

In the first nine months ended 30 September 2024, MEEZA’s Net Profit reached QR 42.0 million, representing an 8.7% (or QR 4.0 million) decrease over the same period last year, with Earnings Per Share (EPS) of QR 0.06.? Net Profit Margin for the period improved by 1.4 percentage points to 16.2% mainly driven by a revenue increase in the higher-margin segments.

The Company achieved total revenue of QR 259.4 million, declining 16.6% (or QR 51.8 million) year-on-year due to a decrease in low-margin Solutions services. Excluding Solutions services, revenue increased by 7.5%, led by growth in the Data Centre (7.8%) and Managed Services (12.3%) revenues.
