#MeetUsMonday -- Staff pets

It's #NationalPetDay and we love animals here at WLRH! Some of us have one, some of us have EIGHT (guess who??)...some of us have allergies and restrictions in our homes. But here are four that were submitted for you to get to know your WLRH staff a bit better.

The first pictured is Danni. She is about 12 years old as a good guess. She is a rescue--a schnauzer/yorkie mix. (The kids call her a Schnorkie, because it's fun to say--try it!) She is Elaine's pet, though Elaine would argue that she is really her husband's dog. Her husband is #1 on Danni's list for sure. She's loyal and sweet and the family just loves her!

In the second picture, you can see Ginny riding her horse Art and her beagle/blue heeler Violet following behind. As a long-time animal lover and rescuer, Ginny Kennedy has too many?pets?to list in one short post. While her cats and elderly coonhound Rufus lounge around the house, Ginny enjoys getting out to ride her horse Art, with her Beagle/Blue Heeler mix Violet blue-heeling behind.?

Lastly is Julie's boxer mix Belle. She is a rescue from A New Leash on Life and is very sweet. She's come into the station before, as has some of Ginny's pack.

Not pictured is Eugene, Katy's puffball/car companion. If you come to our Spring Open House on Friday, April 22nd, maybe you can meet Eugene in person, along with the rest of the WLRH staff. We appreciate you all so much and hope you have enjoyed this little glimpse into the staff's menagerie!
