Meet the team at DL/28 in Old Street EC1

This Monday Meets is a particularly exciting one, introducing you to the DL/28 team in Old Street EC1 on opening day. Directly from the stylish surroundings of the newest Members Lounge, we're excited to give you a glimpse into this new space through the eyes of those at its helm.

Let's start with some introductions...

Overseeing the team is Annalise Trought , Senior Member Experience & Lounges Manager, who has been with Derwent London since 2021, starting her journey at our first DL/ Lounge, DL/78 in Fitzrovia W1. Priyasha Tailor , DL/28's Member Experience Assistant Manager, joined in June 2023 and focuses on ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Completing the team are Louise Di Bernardo and Shay Hay , who both recently joined as Member Experience Coordinators and are dedicated to elevating Member interactions and managing the versatile spaces within DL/28.

Together, they form a cohesive team, driving DL/28 towards excellence in Member service and experience.

How would you describe DL/28 in three words?

Annalise: Unique. Comfort. Opportunity.

Pri: Cosy. Eclectic. Thoughtfully-designed.

Louise: Exclusive. Impressive. Unique.

Shay: Collaborative. Innovative. Impressive.

What is your favourite corner of the space?

Shay: It would have to be the high bar on the lower ground floor as it is a great way to take a break in between meetings.

Annalise: A little table with three red chairs in the Lounge near the café... I love the view from that corner.

Pri: The nooks next to the DL/ Service café.

What makes DL/28 unique, and what can Members expect from the space?

Annalise: A complete Members Lounge experience with a dedicated front of house team there for all your needs.

Pri: From smaller meeting rooms and hop-in phone booths, to a dedicated focus library and an on-site café with preferential Member rates.

Louise: Our Members are entering a space offering them a full, exclusive experience including a wide range of bespoke, bookable meeting rooms, private hire spaces with amazing features, state-of-the-art AV equipment and an in-house café.

What local DL/ Member offer will you take advantage of this month?

Pri: The Allpress discount is a personal favourite of mine.

Annalise: It's got to be the Nobu Hotel offer.

What events and experiences can Members expect?

Shay: Members can enjoy our complimentary yoga classes every Tuesday until the end of the year as well as seasonal drinks. I encourage Members to keep their eyes peeled on the DL/ App, as we always have something exciting coming up.

How do you see the Member community using the space?

Pri: From their morning coffee to a few hours of work in our focus library.

Annalise: We have our very own in-house café with preferential rates for our Members, which I feel will be a destination for morning coffee meetings and lunch. DL/ Service can also provide bespoke catering for private events at DL/28.

What makes you proud about working in this space?

Annalise: Every room and feature at DL/28 has been carefully considered with the Member at its core. I can’t wait to see it take shape.

Pri: It's truly beautiful and mindfully laid out. Not only that, being part of a brilliant Lounges team and interacting with so many Members daily, means no two days are the same.

Shay: DL/28 gives me a unique opportunity to help our Member community connect and collaborate.

Louise: The space is incredible, and I feel that Members will really enjoy using it.

What do you love most about Old Street?

Louise: The East London vibe; all the boutique shops and restaurants.

Pri: The culture, diversity and ongoing development of the area. There's always something new to do.

Annalise: It's changed so much over the years. I especially love all the new restaurants, there's so many to explore!
