“1000 Australian Tourists' Arrival Ceremony in Xi'an, Australia China Tourism Summits & Business Forum”
I had the pleasure of meeting my good friend Daryl, the former President of the Australia China Business Council Northern Territory (ACBC), during my time in Darwin. Time flies - it was in 2017 that Daryl, along with my long time mate ACBC Victorian President Hon Ken Smith, Queensland Gladstone City Council representative Cr Desley, and many other friends, joined the AITA delegation to attend the China-Australia Year of Tourism 2017, headed by Hon Bob Baldwin.
AITA and Myself were honored to have been appointed by Tourism China to assist in co-organizing the event "1000 Australian Friends at the Gate of Xian" as part of the Australia-China Year of Tourism. Other events included the 1000 Australian Tourists' Arrival Ceremony in Xi'an, Australia China Tourism Summits & Business Forum, and the 14th China-Asean Expo & Trade Forums in Nanning and Government Departments in Beijing. We have some memorable photos attached to remember the goodwill and friendship built up by so many friends from all walks of life.
