Meeting with Signs TV

On January 11th, 2022, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting with a team from Signs TV. This meeting was an outgrowth of a meeting that took place on December 10th, 2021, at the Kenya Business Disability Network. We realized we had synergies we could explore with the team from Signs, especially their marketing team.??

We are aligned in our pursuit of providing opportunities and creating awareness of the challenges of PWDs and the underserved communities.??

I was happily surprised when they reached out to me in January about continuing the conversation. As a result, we planned a courtesy visit on 11th January 2022. The signs team met our team at around 10 am and had a chance to interact with our team to learn our ecosystem and later to explore areas of collaboration.??

The meeting was more fruitful and connecting than I could have hoped.??

Signs Team was led by Immaculate Muthee, head of marketing, Minnie Mbesa, sign language interpreter and quality control, and Videliz Njoki, news anchor and marketing lead.??
