Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani at Al-Ula's winter camp on Wednesday to strengthen bilateral ties and discuss regional developments.
They emphasized joint efforts to address the Syrian crisis, enhance regional security, and confront global challenges. Both leaders condemned the aggression in Gaza, urging an immediate ceasefire, increased humanitarian relief, and adherence to peace agreements in Lebanon.
Al-Sudani reaffirmed Iraq’s support for Syria’s territorial unity, non-interference, and inclusive governance, while expressing readiness to collaborate for regional stability. The meeting was attended by senior Saudi officials.
