Stephanie Agius, MLRO; Compliance Executive

With a keen eye for detail and a dedication to upholding regulatory standards, Stephanie ensures that our company operates within the bounds of AML and compliance requirements. This consists of updating Policies and Procedures, keeping up to date with regulations, offering guidance and more.

Stephanie started working at MiFinity in April 2022, after moving from the iGaming industry to the financial sector. This brought about many changes, as she had to learn and understand new regulations from a financial institution's perspective.

Despite the challenges of juggling her professional role with motherhood, Stephanie finds solace in the flexibility offered by MiFinity, enabling her to navigate both areas effectively. Her favourite quote - "The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time," by Thomas Edison.

Maria Carty, HR Manager

Introducing Maria, our dedicated HR Manager at MiFinity, entrusted with the vital task of overseeing all aspects of human resources across the company.

Maria's role is a dynamic and multifaceted one, encompassing diverse responsibilities such as recruitment, policy formulation, employee development initiatives, and HRIS enhancements. With each day presenting new challenges and opportunities, Maria thrives in the ever-changing landscape of HR.

Since joining MiFinity, Maria has embraced the opportunity to engage with our diverse team, whether through office visits or remote interactions. Her proactive approach has resulted in the digitisation of various HR processes, streamlining recruitment procedures and facilitating faster talent acquisition within a span of just six months. This rapid progress underscores the dynamic, agile, and fast-paced nature of our company.

Joanna Buttigieg, KYB Analyst

Joanna is our committed KYB Analyst at MiFinity, entrusted with the critical task of ensuring compliance with the company’s practices and processes. Joanna’s role extends to conducting regulatory screenings and performing Enhanced Due Diligence to uphold stringent compliance standards. She also works alongside the company’s MLRO and Business Development team to ensure KYB documentation is received and reviewed in a timely manner.

At MiFinity, Joanna thrives in a flexible and inclusive work environment where she identifies opportunities for growth and development. Her dedication to maintaining compliance and fostering a collaborative atmosphere underscores her contribution to our team's success.

Samantha Portelli, Head of Affiliates

As Head of Affiliates, Samantha is dedicated to leading MiFinity’s affiliate channels. Her duties entail nurturing and sustaining partnerships with affiliate associates, crafting strategic campaigns to elevate the affiliate network, and evaluating performance metrics for optimal outcomes.

With a background in Affiliate Account Management, Operations and Marketing on the casino side, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role. The MiFinity Affiliate program was launched from scratch to encourage affiliates to promote MiFinity. Samantha also launched the MiFinity Bonus site which is an affiliate showcase site for all current merchants within the casino industry. Future plans for the site include showcasing brands across other verticals such as travel and retail, which contributes significantly to MiFinity's market presence and success.

Jade Attard, Affiliate and Content Associate Manager

Meet Jade, our Affiliate and Content Associate Manager responsible for overseeing MiFinity’s content and affiliate marketing channels. Focusing on driving content marketing strategies, Jade crafts weekly articles and press releases to showcase MiFinity’s offered services, products and achievements whilst working to maintain a consistent brand identity across all platforms.

On the affiliation front, Jade runs the MiFinity Bonus website, an affiliate marketing platform that highlights a variety of brands and their offerings. She is dedicated to onboarding partnering clients and pitching for the platform’s role in providing promotional techniques across different verticals.

With a background in content management and digital marketing, Jade brings a valuable skillset to her role. At MiFinity, she finds fulfillment in being part of a flexible and inclusive work environment that values hard work and rewards dedication.

Francisca Fluhmann, Account Manager

Introducing Francisca, our versatile point of contact between MiFinity and our esteemed merchants. With a diverse range of daily responsibilities, Francisca is devoted to providing comprehensive and efficient support to our clients for all MiFinity products and services. She consistently strives to deliver exceptional service, support, and follow-up to ensure seamless payment processing for her portfolio.

Joining MiFinity in July 2023 marked the beginning of Francisca's career in the payments industry, which has been an enriching journey. Her time at MiFinity has been a period of significant growth and learning, with each day presenting new and interesting challenges that push her beyond her limits.

Francisca is particularly drawn to MiFinity's collaborative work environment, where she has the opportunity to interact with experienced industry professionals who readily share their knowledge.
