In celebration of this acknowledgement, we have been profiling the women who helped get us on the list, the women that lead here at goeasy. You’ve already been introduced to our SVP & Chief Legal Officer, Sabrina Anzini and EVP & Chief Marketing Officer, Andrea Fiederer , for part three of this series we would like to introduce you to our EVP & Chief Operating Officer, Jackie Foo .

Jackie Foo has a reputation for being a transformational leader who can make a strategic vision a reality.?Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership roles at companies like Bell, Helio, Telus and Sprint.?Jackie is a dynamic change agent who inspires her teams to set exacting standards, adopt best practices and leverage technology to drive performance and deliver exceptional service.?With these systems of success, she has helped expand the retail capacity of some of Canada’s largest companies.

A keen believer in the potential of people, Jackie has taken leadership roles that offer her the opportunity to mentor and coach other women.?Most recently, she led goeasy’s International Women’s Day events for the Women in Leadership (WIL) Committee.?Prior to joining goeasy Ltd., Jackie was the executive lead for Bell Mobility’s Diversity & Inclusion Council and sat on the advisory board for Lean in Canada, one of the country’s largest non-profits supporting women in the workplace.?With her passion for people, fierce determination, and desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, Jackie has become an indispensable member of the goeasy Ltd. team. ?

What do you love about working for goeasy?

I joined goeasy Ltd., because I fell in love with the strong company culture, the highly engaged leadership team and the incredible potential of the organization.?I feel fortunate to have inherited an exceptional team who have welcomed me with open arms and have been supportive of the strategic direction I’ve provided for operations.?

I’ve witnessed genuine caring and concern for people, apparent at all levels, from our President & CEO, Jason Mullins, to our frontline employees.?I am honoured to be part of an organization that takes care of each other and its customers in extraordinary circumstances.?goeasy ltd., is a special place.?

How are you encouraging women to become future leaders?

I have a solid track record of coaching, developing and sponsoring women for leadership positions.?To me, sponsoring women goes beyond giving good advice!?It’s about advocating for advancement, providing public endorsement, and exposing women to career opportunities.?

The key to promoting gender equality in the workplace starts with creating a strong pipeline of female talent.?I’ve had the privilege of leading frontline teams, a great source of diverse talent, especially at goeasy, which already has a female mix of over 50% in individual contributors and managers.?
