Getting #ready with a new #weeks #challenge ? It doesn’t take much effort in #creating a #todolist , but #keepingup with it. So, here it goes your productivity #checklist
Keep the List short. Having too many things would be too overwhelming to be accomplished. How to do this?
List only 3 most important things to do at one time. And finish them off one by one. There most important things are not mundane email check or answering phone calls, etc.. Important things are the ones that are productive and that would add to my professional or personal growth. As I was missing out on writing on daily basis and reading (other than online articles), I have added them to my important to do list. This is besides my daily work and committments. You could have your own list.
Setting Right Priorities. You could further divide this into personal, health goals as such. I have done it becasue I realised the importance of good health kind of hard way. So, my priority is my health. A healthy body is directly linked to your productivity. What is your priority?
Keep a time frame. Time is precious. Set a time frame for each activity and try keep your own deadline. I was thinking and realised that I was more productive when I had a boss to report to in a given timetine. And, i was known fo rthat. So, Keeping a time frame becomes so important for me as now I am my own boss. I have now started keeping strict time for checking my social profiles as they can really really eat your time monstrously.
Move on. As you finish one job, strike it off and move on to another. If you get stuck that is you are taking much more than the required time you thinkg, just move on to another activity without wasting time. You could come back to it when relaxed.
Take small breaks. Taking 5 -10 minutes off in between activities to do something that soothes you helps refresh your mind. You could talk to a friend, drink a cup of coffee, listen to some music, deep breathe, power nap or just walk in the corridoor. Hey! You need to time that too!
Once you will practice this regularly, you will become more and more productive. Do let me know what you do to keep your day most productive. Thanks!
