Meet Usablenet's Newest Accessibility Partner!

We are proud to announce the exciting news of our most recent partnership with My Blind Spot.

My Blind Spot is a nationally recognized nonprofit disability advocacy group and disability network. Working alongside this group has allowed the Usablenet team to learn, grow, and continually strengthen the products and services we provide. The partnership will deliver the best user testing option for clients by adaptive technology testers, as required by the DOT and DOJ. We spoke with Albert Rizzi, Founder of My Blind Spot, who provided his sentiments on behalf of his team about the partnership:

Q: What is the importance or benefit of the partnership between Usablenet and My Blind Spot?

A: The partnership, in my opinion, is a unique approach and blending of expertise and digital solutions that not only promote, but ensures, accessibility, usability, and inclusion for people who are blind and print disabled. Joining forces with Usablenet, marries our resources and talents that blend the best of both organizations and significantly advances My Blind Spot's mission of inspiring accessibility for people of all abilities. Through this partnership, organizations all over the world can confidently rely on the team we are building. We believe that the team stands for "together everyone achieves more", and that has proven to be the foundation of this partnership. Working with Usablenet only reinforces the My Blind Spot mantra, access to the right tools, promotes ability and restores infinite possibilities.

Q: In your professional or personal opinion, what sets the Usablenet Assistive platform apart from other industry Accessibility Conformance?

A: In addition to being a unique accessibility solution in the industry, Usablenet Assistive, in my opinion is unrivaled with its quick {3 months or less} turnaround time for taking any digital offering from inaccessible and non-compliant, to a AA rating as established by the W3C. During the courtship process, our team of proficient adaptive technology professionals were impressed with the usability that was introduced into one site after another. The Usablenet Assistive technology solution can help organizations understand the many advantages of making their websites, mobile applications, workplace tools, and software products accessible to people with disabilities. This remarkable solution is only improved through the infusion of that all critical component, hands on usability testing. Relying on individuals with disabilities to provide real-world feedback allows for the compilation and prioritization of data ensuring that the accessibility and usability of all our clients’ digital platforms will meet or even exceed industry standards.

We are equally as thrilled for the joint support that Usablenet and My Blind Spot will be able to provide to members of the disabled community. For more information about the partnership and the expertise of each organization: https://usablenet.uberflip.com/i/756339-usablenet-and-mbs-partnership
