Meet-up Apps: From Sketchy to Simple
It can be frustrating trying to figure out where you want to meet up with your match, and planning what you guys want to do. I have first-hand experience, and I know there are probably several others who’ve been in similar situations.
After matching with a guy online and hitting it off, we added each other on Snapchat and got to talking even more. So for your viewing pleasure, I recreated our conversation:
I don’t know about you, but if I’m meeting someone for the first time, I’d like to meet up somewhere in public just in case. How do I know this person I’ve only messaged a bit isn’t a catfish and/or an axe-murderer? Ya just don’t know.
*Disclaimer: I don’t think he’s neither an axe-murderer nor a catfish. But you get it lol*
You know what’s a solution to both of those problems? Foobee.
Foobee! We’re a new social app trying to bring people together. The app allows you to swipe and meet up with others based on mutual cravings (food, drinks, and activities) that you can list on your profile. And with our “specials†tab, you can find local businesses’ latest and greatest deals.
Say that you and your match are both craving coffee. Well, a new cafe just opened up and they’re using Foobee to promote their grand opening sale! They’ve got half-priced pastries today through Sunday.

6 å¹´I love this whole concept. It helps with building better relationships while at the same time supporting local businesses with their growth.? I hope this takes off!
