Meet Terence Tong
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada, this educator’s journey reflects a rich tapestry of international experience and a deep commitment to student and family engagement. Partner to Marie and father to Olivia, he has dedicated 22 years to teaching middle school across Canada, Kuwait, and South Korea. His career has been marked by diverse roles, including grade-level, divisional, and whole-school middle leadership positions.
A firm advocate for strong home-school partnerships and experiential learning, he believes in the power of unique educational opportunities to enrich students' lives. Known for his dedication to listening, learning, and reflection, he currently serves as a Middle and High School Instructional Coach at The American School of Kuwait. As he continues his search for the ideal international school community that aligns with both professional and family aspirations, his focus remains on creating impactful and supportive educational environments.
