Meet TeamWomen's 2022 Outstanding Mentor Honorees!

Each year, TeamWomen recognizes and celebrates women who consistently impact the trajectory and advancement of other women’s careers. Get to know this year’s Outstanding Mentor Honorees that we will celebrate on October 6th at Metropolitan Ballroom & Club at our?2022 WaveMaker Awards.?

Julie Eide

In her role as President of?Amplify Mission Network,?Julie Eide?oversees the organization’s operation, working closely with the Board and staff. She ensures they deliver on their mission, operate financially sustainably, and create programming that engages their business and nonprofit partners in meaningful ways that produce impact.

?This role provides Julie with numerous opportunities to serve in a mentor role with staff, nonprofit leaders, and business leaders. Through formal and informal opportunities, she provides coaching, consulting, teaching, encouragement, knowledge, and connections to leaders. A natural connector, she thrives on connecting young leaders to the people and opportunities that can strengthen them for greater impact. Getting to personally know those within her sphere of influence is a high priority.

Roslyn Harmon

Roslyn Harmon?has made a great impact as Executive Director at?Dispute Resolution Center (DRC). In just one year, she rebranded, hired a team passionate about community, and raised over $500,000 to get the organization back on its feet! Roslyn continues to expand DRC as she develops, implements and oversees all aspects of the organization, including curriculum, programming, budget, fundraising, networking, training, and strategic planning.?

Roslyn is a servant leader, first and foremost. Many look to her as a mentor because of her natural passion for serving. She loves using her skills and knowledge to help community members grow and flourish. She believes her secret ingredients of humility, tough love, and self-determination are meant to be shared with others, not kept for selfish gain.?

Jennifer Roach

As Director of Creative Services at?SVL, Inc,?Jennifer Roach?provides leadership and strategic direction of the Creative Services unit responsible for graphic design, photography, videography, and overall brand identity for several brands under the SVL umbrella. Overseeing a handful of young team members, she walks them through processes that have proven beneficial to her over the years, gives them freedom, advises without demands, and listens when they need an ear. As their cheerleader, she always focuses on what is best for their future.

Chanda Smith Baker

Chanda Smith Baker?has over 20 years of experience working in, for, and with underestimated communities. In her current role as Chief Impact Officer and Senior Vice President at the?Minneapolis Foundation, she is responsible for the strategic direction of the foundation’s overall impact, including grantmaking programs, initiatives, and partnerships. She also hosts the award-winning podcast?Conversations with Chanda. She has lent her leadership to many nonprofit, philanthropic, and community boards over her career. Currently, she serves on several boards, including?The Joyce Foundation,?The Women’s Foundation of Minnesota,?Minnesota’s Women’s Economic Roundtable, and the?Minneapolis Institute of Art. Chanda believes in equity, the power of community, and endless possibilities!

Pat Wright

Pat Wright, Founder of?Hello Cookie, has built a trustworthy brand that delivers fresh, fun, and tasty cookies locally and nationally. She loves sharing her time to help people develop and grow their careers. She’s personally benefited from having mentors and coaches, and still has one. As someone who has founded two different businesses, a design firm and a cookie company, plus worked in the corporate world as head of two creative departments, she’s experienced a wide variety of professional situations. She feels great pride that she can share advice and help grow an individual’s network or assist in navigating their professional career and goals. When it comes to mentoring, Pat says, “I may give my time, but I always get back much more.”?
