Thanks for joining us today, Ms. Daher. Could you please start by telling us a little bit of general information about yourself??

VD: My name is Vivian Daher. I was born and raised in Brazil and moved to the United States in 2015. Before relocating to Orlando, I lived in Chicago for two years. My academic journey in the U.S. began with an LL.M. degree at the University of Miami. I am currently a Senior Associate Attorney at Colombo & Hurd.?

And why did you decide to practice law in the field of immigration???

VD: From a young age, fairness and justice have been my guiding principles. I have always believed in standing up for others and ensuring everyone gets a fair chance. That’s why I’m passionate about immigration law—it provides an opportunity to help people pursue their dreams in the United States. Every day, I am driven by the possibility of making a real difference in people's lives. Being an immigration attorney is not just a job to me; it is my purpose, bringing me immense fulfillment and joy.?

I’d love to speak with you about one of your favorite approvals – I know you have so many, but could you tell us about one of your favorites???

VD: One of the most remarkable cases I've handled involved an EB-1A (extraordinary ability) petition for a client who, despite lacking widespread recognition in the cinema world, had his case approved in less than 15 days. Initially, he provided us with a Curriculum Vitae detailing his experience in technology, a field unrelated to his true passion: acting. During our initial meeting, I discovered his background as both a STEM professional and an actor. After further discussions, I decided to use his acting skills as the basis for his case. This decision was significant, and crucial, as the EB-1A category demands rigorous scrutiny compared to his initial intent of pursuing an EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver), and as a result, our client received the approval from USCIS.?

What elements were key to achieve the approval???

VD: The approval was achieved through dedication, teamwork, and close collaboration with the client. Our team invested significant effort and commitment, working closely with him every step of the way. ?

How was the interaction with the client during the process???

VD: I participated in multiple meetings with the client, ensuring that I thoroughly addressed all his? inquiries and concerns. I also took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of gathering detailed information regarding his achievements.?

And how did you and your team feel when the case was approved???

VD: Seeing our clients succeed fills us with immense joy and gratitude. Knowing that we've helped them achieve their dream of living the American life is incredibly rewarding. It's like opening doors to endless opportunities for them and their families, improving their lives in countless ways.?

VD: I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, exploring new destinations, and exercising. I'm also a big food enthusiast, always on the lookout for new culinary experiences at restaurants and coffee shops.?
