Meet The Team: Tina Patruno

1. My role at Moneytech is... Facilitation Officer
2. I joined Moneytech because... I wanted a change and a challenge, I joined Moneytech over 5 years ago, we were a small company with big ambitions. I have been privileged to experience not only growth within my team but in the company as a whole, as such I have acquired new skills and met great people, gaining new perspectives and confidence in my role.
3. A day in the life: My typical day at work involves... Meeting with my team, BDOs and BDMs, getting to see what new business we will be working on. Collating information, drafting documents, performing all AML/CTF/KYC checks, lodging security, ensuring that all pre-settlement conditions have been met, setting up systems in preparation for settlement, and then liaising with our amazing finance accounting team to settle the client's account and then I connect with the relationship managers to handover the client's account with any extra information they may need. New and exciting challenges arise all the time making every day different and exciting.
4. The most fun part of my role is... Getting to work within such a fun, knowledgeable and supportive team which inspires me to continuously learn and progress in my role.
5. When I am not working, I am... Either hiking with my fur babies and hubby on the weekend or out on the river in my canoe. Sometimes I enjoy catching the newest release at the movies and then having a meal and a few drinks with friends. I also enjoy getting together with ladies at a reformer Pilates class most evenings during midweek.

1. Something I am planning to do that I have never done... I am planning to complete the 7 Bridges Walk in October, it's a 28km course taking in some of Sydney’s incredible scenery along the way, in support of Australians impacted by cancer.
2. If I were to write a book about myself, I would name it... Metamorphosis.
3. If I had one superpower it would be... Teleportation.
4. Some words of wisdom from me if you've made it this far... Listen to those around you, love with all your heart, give all you can and never fear the next step.
